Justin has been making sculptural pieces that are intended to be wall mounted, taking his work off of the shelf, so to speak. These pieces show continuity with his previous work, maintaining a focus on the forms themselves, and on the interplay of light, transparency/opacity and the layering of colors and textures within the glass. By placing the pieces on the wall shadows, reflections and the space between the glass and the wall become an integral part of the viewing experience..
