Directions to Studio:
From the light at US Rt. 1 and Rt. 26 (i.e. Garfield Pkwy./Atlantic Ave.) at the Bethany Beach totem, drive west 2.2 miles. The Ellen Rice Gallery is in Ocean View on the right at the west end of the long porched building also housing Country Wicker. The gallery is tan with a red door, has a red & gold sign, and two large butterfly benches in front.
Voted one of Delaware's 10 most collectible shore artists, Ellen Rice has painted all her life, most of her years in coastal Delaware. A professional artist, her peace-filled luminescent seascapes and landscapes, oil portraits, inspirational works and writings that accompany many of them are found in private, corporate and government collections around the world. Unveilings of new works will kick off her tour at 10 a.m. Friday.
